The art work represents a small tree that has a branch with thorns. They are spread all over the tree branch providing protection from any animal that may try to feed on the tree. The tree appears to be in a forest that has many grazers. The artist wanted to demonstrate to the viewer how this plant uses it’s needles as protective strategy to repel any grazers that might attempt to feed on the plant. The colors used in this image are perfect and the background has been modified in a style that only displays the required tree branch. The viewer is able to make his observation clearly.

This is simply an outstanding brilliant work of photography and correct use of autofocus to make a statement. Rightly the photograph is blurry and that centers the focus on the flower plant but one detail that can never go unnoticed is the sprinkles of blue in the blurry background. This tells just one thing, no matter where you¡¯re placed, no matter how much you¡¯re being hidden from the spotlight, if you¡¯re meant to burst out you will effortlessly without stress of any kind. This is what Robert has tried to portray here and I think it is a perfect and clear representation anyway.
